Universal’s Holiday Tour returns with even more magic and mischief
With a wave of the wand, the holidays are taking over Universal Orlando. As Universal’s Holiday Tour returns, guests will see, feel and taste the best of the season. Although there might not be any onions on the menu, there is a feast for all the senses.
Last year, Universal Orlando had a modified version of its holiday festivities. This year, the Macy’s balloons will soar again, the Whos are singing loudly, and the Wizarding World is transformed with light and sound.
Starting on November 13 and running through January 2, 2022, Universal’s Holiday Tour includes all the holiday experiences. From meeting the Grinch to Seeing the Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle to special viewing of Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, the whole experience is filled with holiday cheer and many holiday favorites.
Since food is an integral part of the holiday season, the Universal chefs have whipped up some delightful treats. Last year, the hot chocolate bombs were a huge hit. From chilly nights to afternoon fun, that luscious beverage was as satisfying as it was fun to enjoy.
This year, a new Grinch-themed hot chocolate bomb is available. Filled with red-candied hearts and marshmallows, it will make your smile grow more than three times big with this special offering. The Grinch-themed hot chocolate bomb is available at Hop on Pop Ice Cream Shop at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
For guests who prefer a cooler holiday beverage, the “Red Hot” Holiday Shake is a delightful choice. Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast has mixed up another irresistible confection. This holiday shake features “Red Hot candies, crushed peppermint and a Christmas tree snack cake.” Since the holidays are all about the food indulgence, eating it all does not warrant a spot on the naughty list.
For a smaller treat, the Nutella Cheesecake Reindeer Pop is a must try. The all-new cheesecake pop features Nutella and candied hazelnuts. Even Santa says it is ok to have dessert before dinner during the holidays. The Nutella Cheesecake Reindeer Pop is available at Croissant Moon Bakery, which is located in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
All of these items and many more holiday food offerings will be available through Universal Orlando Resort. From Hot Butterbeer to the Holiday Tribute Store, there are tasty treats around every corner. Also, City Walk and the various Universal Orlando Resort hotels will offer special holiday treats.
Universal Orlando Resort holiday celebrations, including the Universal’s Holiday Tour, run from November 13 through January 2. For more information on daily activities, availability and other information please visit the Universal Orlando website.
