Over the years, Budweiser has featured many iconic characters on its holiday campaigns. The Budweiser 2021 Limited Edition Holiday Cans bring a new friend to the winter festivities. Joining the iconic Clydesdales is Wilson and he is looking for a friend to become the new Pupweiser.
During the holiday season, the ugly holiday sweater isn’t the only way to bring a festive look to the table. Setting a great tablescape isn’t limited to just a centerpiece or a snowglobe. Sometimes that can in your hand needs to take a cue from the theme.
This year, the Budweiser 2021 Limited Edition Holiday Cans feature several different designs. From a classic winter landscape with the Clydesdales to an adorable Dalmatian puppy, the look evokes the nostalgia of the season.
While those special guests have been part of the Budweiser holidays for a while, Wilson is joining the celebration this year. The adorable Saint Bernard from Ohio was this year’s Budweiser’s 2021 Pupweiser contest winner.
After an exhaustive search, Wilson earned his starring role on the holiday cans. His adorable face coming through that holiday wreath captures the sentiment of the season. He fits in perfectly, but he is looking for a friend. Budweiser announced that it is launching its search for the Pupweiser 2022.
From November 15 through December 15, everyone can share a photo of their beloved furry companion for consideration. While only one dog will be given the “woof” approval, seeing all the adorable dogs will bring smiles all around. After all, the holiday season is about spreading good cheer.
In addition, Budweiser is sharing extra goodwill through this Pupweiser contest. For every entry, the company will donate $1 to the ASPCA. The hope is to help provide a safe home for all animals both during and beyond the holiday season.
The Budweiser 2021 Limited Edition Holiday cans are available now for a limited time. Please check where the beer is sold for availability of the 12 oz cans.
From nights by the fire to celebrations that last all night long, the holiday season is here. This year, raise a can to good times, good friends and man’s best friend.
