One of the most iconic desserts entered the plant-based food space. The new Vegan Frrozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity3 ensures that everyone can enjoy that decadent, delicious dessert.

In a recent company announcement, the new Vegan Frrozen Hot Chocolate builds on the famous flavors of its iconic classic dessert. With that “secret mix of cocoa powders,” the dessert combines “powdered sugar and cream of coconut, blended with ice, and topped with a mountain of coconut milk whipped cream and a sprinkling of toasted coconut flakes.”

According to Chef Joe Calderone, Creative Director of Serendipity3, “Our menu has always included plant-based items, so it was only fitting that we developed a vegan version of our Frrrozen Hot Chocolates, the iconic dessert that has satisfied nearly 30 million guests since we opened our doors in 1954.”

Given the skill of the creative culinary team, the vegan version of this dessert will deliver the same experience as the original recipe. Now even more people can enjoy this infamous dessert. The menu price is $19.95.

What other new plant-based food options join the Vegan Frrozen Hot Chocolate?

While Serendipity3 is known for its over the top menu items, the culinary team appreciates that it needs to take into account food trends and guests lifestyle choices. Sitting side by side with that Infamous Truffle Burger with Boursin Cheese & Black Truffle Mayo are a variety of vegan options that are equally satisfying.

New vegan menu items include “Vegan Black Bean Burger, Crispy Vegan Chicken Tacos, Serendipity Vegan Truffle Mac, Crispy Vegan Polynesian Pineapple,” and several other options. These menu items celebrate both bold flavors and classic comfort food.

As Calderone commented, “We’re proud to offer a larger vegan menu to accommodate plant-based eaters in search of a serendipitous dining experience.”

While these menu items help to promote food inclusivity, they are not just for people who follow the vegan lifestyle. Sometimes a dinner out can be a tasty opportunity to try some a dish that might seem intimidating to make at home.

Serendipity3 is located at 225 E 60th Street in New York City. For operating hours and for reservations, please visit the brand’s website.
