While the weather might be frightful, the team at Chili’s is shaking up a margarita of the month that is quite delightful. Returning for December is the Merry Berry Rita. Move over hot cocoa, this cocktail has everyone feeling a little spirited.

The Chili’s Margarita of the Month is always a reason to head to the local restaurant. While the traditional sour will always be in style, the seasonal twist gives that classic cocktail a little extra. Whether enjoyed with some ribs, a hamburger or just some chips and salsa, it is time to toast the good times.

What is the Merry Berry Rita?

Channeling the red color of the season, the Merry Berry Rita looks to offer some brightness to complement all the holiday cheer. This margarita was a hit last year and Chili’s has brought it back to the menu.

The seasonal margarita features “Lunazul Tequila, Cointreau, Blackberry Syrup, Strawberry Puree, Fresh Sour.” And, since it is the holiday season, the margarita has a candy cane garnish. It is a nice little touch to offer an extra treat with the cocktail.

For guests who want a season cocktail but would prefer to keep the flavors a little lighter, this option is quite refreshing. In a sea of eggnog and chocolate, a little touch of berry brightness is a welcome sip.

The margarita of the month program has been a quite successful. While the Chili’s margarita is a classic, the riff on that iconic sour keeps the margarita exciting. Whether guests make a special trip or just mix up their order on the fly, there is always a reason to keep the shaking moving.

And, since it is the holidays, why not enjoy a cocktail with a friend. A little extra merry is the best way to celebrate the season.
