Papa Johns NY Style Pizza folds its way onto the menu
Move over Papadilla, because the Papa Johns NY Style Pizza is here to end 2021 in a big way. Forget about that deep dish and stuffed crust because the best way to enjoy a pizza is to fold its way straight to your heart.
People debate best pizza styles almost as much as they debate favorite pizza toppings. While some people think deep dish is a casserole and others think that thin crust lacks depth, the reality is that people like their pizza in a particular style.
For some, a NY Style pizza reigns supreme. While it might be sacrilege to eat it with a knife and fork, that slice is best enjoyed when folded. Even if you ditch the crust, this style is all about the fold, and nothing but the fold.
Joining the menu is the Papa Johns NY Style Pizza. While it might not be the exactly the same as the old-school pizza shop on the corner of a particular borough, this version captures the essence of the NY slice, the fold.
The extra-large pizza is cut into eight over-sized slices, which can be folded, or not folded if that’s the preference. While the slice size enhances the eating method, it is more than just a bigger slice of pizza.
For a NY Style pizza, it is all about the ratio of topping to dough. Too much topping and there is a risk of spillage. Too little topping and it feels like just eating pizza crust. While that fresh, never frozen dough is always tasty, some people like a little more to their pizza.
This new menu addition is a great option going into the end of the year. From a quick dinner to game day, pizza always brings smiles all around.
The new Papa Johns NY Style Pizza is available to Papa Rewards members on Monday, December 20. All guests can place an order starting on Monday, December 27. But, don’t wait on placing an order. This menu item will fold itself away on March 13, 2022. A one topping pizza has a suggested price of $13, but menu prices may vary.
