From wanting to escape another family conversation to just craving that Grand Slam breakfast, many people will be cheerful because Denny’s is open on Christmas Day. Although some other restaurants are closed and grocery stores might be dark, the red booth is welcoming one and all on the holiday.

While hours may vary depending on location, guests can skip the holiday cooking stress and let the restaurant take over. From some fluffy pancakes to a tasty sandwich, there are a variety of food options to fill the plate.

Just for the holiday season, the restaurants are offering a turkey dinner. With all the traditional staples, the dinner can be ordered for carry-out or delivery, too. If the idea of shopping and cooking makes the merry disappear more quickly than a plate of holiday cookies, this idea could be the holiday savior.

And, Denny’s even has a few pies that can join the feast. Basically, the restaurant can make sure that everything is crossed off the to-do list.

If Denny’s is open on Christmas Day, is there a way to bring extra cheer to the table?

Sometimes the holiday season isn’t quite as bountiful as many people would hope. Now through January 4, 2022, guests can “round up” their check as a donation to No Kid Hungry. While that little extra might not seem like a lot, all those extras can and do make a difference.

Since 2011, Denny’s has donated almost $10 to No Kid Hungry. Through that donation, almost 100 million at-risk children have been helped. While food insecurity continues to plague the nation, every donation can and does make a difference.

This holiday season, add a little extra with those pancakes, eggs or holiday dinner. While Denny’s being open on Christmas Day might be a gift for some, rounding up the check is a gift for many.
