As Santa starts to pack his sleigh, there are only a few more hours to get all that holiday shopping complete. Target understands that some people prefer to sprint through the to-do list and there are some savings to be made on those last-minute purchases.

According to Mark Schindele, chief stores officer, Target, “All season long, our team has been helping guests get everything on their lists. With great deals, convenient same-day services like Drive Up and Order Pickup, and a team that’s staffed and ready to help, we’re here to make guests’ final holiday shopping trips easy and stress-free.”

For those people who have one more item on that list, the stores are open on Christmas Eve. Also, Order Pickup and free same-day Drive Up services will be available through 6 p.m. on December 24. Whether it is that last minute stocking stuffer or a change to the wish list that Santa didn’t predict, the store is ready to make it all happen.

Plus, there are a plethora of deals waiting to be had at the store. Although the stress of the last minute shopping can be tiresome, saving a few dollars is a good thing.

Just remember, a kind word to the staff is always appreciated. Those hard-working employees are helping to make other people’s holiday merry and bright.

Is a Target gift card a last minute shoppers smart purchase?

Did you know that the National Retail Foundation said gift cards were a top choice for consumers this year? With spending on gift cards increasing, that gift purchase is a way for everyone to ensure that they receive an item that is useful.

As people prepare to shop after Christmas, Target will be offering some great deals to maximize that gift card. From 50% off toys to saving $10 on a $40 purchase on select clothing items, there are plenty of ways to save.

And, don’t forget that many favorite brands can be found in stores. From Disney to Apple, Target is one stop shopping.

Last minute shoppers do not have to show up empty-handed this holiday season. There are gifts waiting to be purchased so that no one has a piece of coal in their stocking.
