As one cooks looks to earn the ultimate cooking crown, Next Level Chef episode 10 semi-final round has everyone feeling the pressure. While the entertainment industry might applaud the triple threat, this culinary competition is looking for the best dish that captures three particular components. Can one dish be as flavorful as its innovative presentation?

According to FOX, Next Level Chef episode 10, “Show Stopping Semi-Finals” features the following:

"Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais challenge their teams to create a show-stopping dish with flavor, presentation and beauty! The semifinals will have each contestant assigned to a kitchen where they will need to prove that they can create magic in any environment, even when the odds are stacked against them. The best dishes will keep contestants safe from elimination, while three contestants will be sent home with their dreams up in flames in the all-new “Show Stopping Semi-Finals” episode of NEXT LEVEL CHEF airing Wednesday, Feb. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX."

After last week’s cooking going off the rails, anything is possible. No one would have predicted that Reuel would have fallen from the top to the bottom. Even though he managed to find a way to stay in the competition, it shows that he is vulnerable.

Throughout the Next Level Chef competition, the cooks who think on their feet and adapt quickly have been able to rise to the top. That ability to see the ingredients and conceptualize the dish in mere seconds have a tremendous advantage.

Although the exact theme of the semi-final round is unclear, it seems that the cooks must take creative plating into account. While the tweezers might come out in the kitchen, it is more than a perfectly plated dish. There might need to be some interaction or innovation to make a cook stand out.

Even if the clue of “magic” might allude to some smoke and mirrors, the reality is that everyone needs to think outside of the proverbial box. It might be easy to play it safe, but that can be too boring. Finding a way to execute and excite should lead a cook to victory.
