It is time for the Next Level Chef finale. While three cooks prepare for battle, only one will earn the title. Who will rise from the bottom and claim victory at the top of the heap?

According to FOX, the Next Level Chef finale, “The Final Level” features the following:

"Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais challenge the final three contestants to create dishes on all three levels in 90 minutes! The contestants are instructed to create an appetizer in the basement, a seafood dish in the middle kitchen and a meat-focused dish in the top-level kitchen and the best chef wins the overall competition. The finale winner will receive a $250,000 grand prize and a year-long mentorship with Gordon, Nyesha and Richard in the all-new “The Final Level” season finale episode of NEXT LEVEL CHEF airing Wednesday, March 2 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX."

Many food television fans probably expected the tri-level finale. Given that the premise of this show is the various cooking levels, it had to be the focus of the finale.

Looking at the three challenges, it seems that Reuel might have an advantage. Even though he had his moment to falter, he might be poised to tackle the different challenges. As long as he focuses on cooking his food, not sabotaging others with his ingredient choices, he could take the title.

At the same time, Pyet has pushed flavor boundaries and keeps the judges engaged. That unique flavor approach can help to set herself apart.

Lastly, Mariah has a great knowledge base. If she can execute and not become overwhelmed, she is a force in the kitchen.

Overall, the Next Level Chef finale should be quite exciting. Although some people might predict that Gordon Ramsay’s chef, Reuel, will walk away with the title, it isn’t written into the script with a Sharpie. Just like any good mystery, it is all about the twists and turns before the big reveal.

Be sure to watch the Next Level Chef finale on FOX. The episode airs on Wednesday, March 2 at 9 p.m. ET.
