The Dew Nation is very loyal to the beverage brand. While everyone might have their favorite Dew flavor, new beverage options have people running to get that first sip.
Over the years, special MTN Dew beverages have popped up at various restaurants and stores. The idea of having a location only beverage makes people excited to create the ultimate food and beverage pairing.
Speaking to the partnership, Rita Patel, Chief Marketing Officer, Buffalo Wild Wings, said, “At Buffalo Wild Wings, we strive to provide our guests with mouthwatering flavors and exciting innovations across our menu.” This exclusive beverage comes after the hugely successful Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili Flavored Sauce.
Given the two offerings, it begs the question what other special limited edition items will be hitting the menu in the future. With the success of these two options and the depth of the PepsiCo brands, there is a plethora of opportunities.
What does MTN Dew Legend taste like?
According to BWW, the MTN Dew Legend starts with the original MTN Dew flavor and adds “notes of blackberry, citrus, and ginger.” While there are many fruit forward options in the Dew Nation, this option is different.
The addition of blackberry brings a sweetness yet includes the tart. That blend of citrus and berry is refreshing.
Adding the ginger is interesting. A touch of spice can keep the refreshment going. It is bold, yet still approachable.
This beverage was created specifically for the Buffalo Wild Wings menu in mind. Whether enjoyed with a variety of the BWW sauces or any of the bar food menu, it is a great alternative to that ice cold beer. It could be said that it is a “beverage wingman.”
The MTN DEW Legend beverage will be available at all Buffalo Wild Wings locations by May 2022.
