Coors Banquet celebrates National Beer Day with a new Legacy Collection

While some people might think every day is beer day, April 7 is National Beer Day. As part of the National Food Day celebration, Coors Banquet is highlighting the brand’s history and tradition. While those snowcapped mountains might look a little different, the tried and true refreshment comes through in every sip.

There are many stories about the legacy of Coors Beer. While some tell tales of humble beginnings, the beer that started in Golden, Colorado has become a legend in the industry. The 140 year legacy is built not just on a dream to make a great tasting beer; it is about making a legacy that transcends generations.

As Marcelo Pascoa, vice president of marketing, Coors Family of Brands, said “Coors Banquet is not only an iconic American beer brand, but one that is committed to the guiding principles that established our legacy.” While the beer aisle might be crowded, few can stand tall on that long reaching history.

On this National Beer Day, Coors Banquet looks back at the brand’s past. With three collectible cans, it is a celebration of the brand’s heritage, history and values. While there may be many lagers on the shelf, there is only one Coors Banquet and it is forever connected to the story of American beer.

In addition to the special collective cans, the brand will offer a Legacy Collection. Collaborating with Huckberry, the line borrows inspiration from the beer brand’s packaging. Blending a vintage feel, the offering represents both brands in a way that respects the past yet looks forward.

The Legacy Collection is available for purchase starting in June. In addition, the collectible cans are available now through the end of June 2022.

Whether it is National Beer Day, a Thursday, or any day, crack open a cold one with a friend. The stories told while sipping that refreshment might be the memories that last a lifetime.
