Tournament of Champions Season 3 episode 8: Crowning a champion

The coveted Food Network belt is waiting for one chef and by the end of Tournament of Champions Season 3 episode 8 one chef will raise it. Given all the twists and turns this season, anything can happen in the Tournament of Champions finale.

According to Food Network, Tournament of Champions Season 3, “Crowning a Champion” features the following:

"Guy Fieri welcomes the four remaining chefs for epic semifinal battles where the two chefs left standing will face off in one final head-to-head championship battle. Find out who takes home the championship belt, $100,000 in cash and, most importantly, the title of TOC Champion."

While there are many predictions about who could or who should win, the more interesting conversation is about the potential ingredients for the final two rounds. Given the global influenced randomizer in the quarterfinals, the semifinals and finals will be even more difficult.

Then again, how much more difficult could the ingredients become. If a chef can handle cassava, what other curve ball would be more difficult.

Maybe the real question would be, how would the chefs hand the most simple ingredients. As many people in the culinary world appreciate, simple dishes are harder than elaborate ones. There is nowhere to hide in a dish with just a handful of ingredients. Everything has to be spot on or the dish is a miss.

Given that this Tournament of Champions season has tried to elevate the excitement, it could be the kitchen equipment that makes the difference in the finale. As seen previously, requirements like a frozen drink machine or microwave pressure cooker is not something that these chefs use often.

Still, no matter the items that the randomizer requires, the chefs have to solve the riddle. At the heart of this culinary competition is finding the best, tastiest answer to that food question. The chef who does that will earn the praises from the judges.
