For many people, AHA, the Coca-Cola brand sparkling water, offers more than just a sip of refreshment. Whether it is that time to take a breath, regroup or just laugh, those little moments make the day better. In the new commercial for AHA sparkling water, Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle, known from PEN15, give their take on “Can I Get an AHA?”

Sometimes that “ah” is not just a profound revelation that seems to make sense of life. Maybe it is a simple laugh with a friend. Although that glimmer of hope might be waiting to be uncovered, every day does not have to be that big game changer. Sometimes, the silly laugh is the bright spot that everyone appreciates.

In the latest “Can I Get an AHA” campaign, Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle bring their comedic talents to the commercial, pit stAHAp. While everyone gets the “aha” joke, the commercial is a little more than just the slip of a tongue. The banter between two friends is relatable. Who hasn’t had that moment with a good friend where you love and are annoyed by them at the same time.

When PEN15 was on Hulu, many people saw parts of themselves in that adolescent world created by Erskine and Konkle. It wasn’t that each event was like looking through the mirror, but there were many universal truths in that fictional depiction.

Recently, FoodSided spoke to Erskine and Konkle as part of the “Can I Get an AHA” campaign. And, the back and forth between two good friends welcomes even a stranger into the conversation. Whether it is talking motherhood struggles or hoping to appreciate that AHA moment, the reality is that people are always looking for ways to relate to each other.

While both are successful in the entertainment industry, those accolades didn’t happen in a bubble. From supporting each other to their families behind them, that notion of a village might be cliché but there is something to having others behind you. These two good friends always seem to have each others’ backs.

When talking about their mom struggles, that notion was clear. After sharing mom fail moments, the words of encouragement followed. It was clear that there was more laughing with you than anything else.

Even though the pair has found success in their comedic careers, it seems that they are looking to find that balance which many moms strive to achieve. Similar to how people saw glimpses of their youth in PEN15, people can see part of themselves in this AHA commercial.

Since the new commercial is part of the brand’s new flavor push, the pair weighed in on their favorites. The Fuji Apple and White Tea was a top choice as well as the classic peach. And, sometimes it is permissible to add a little “adult splash” into that lime AHA for some unwinding time.

Which new flavorful AHA moment is waiting to be sipped?

As part of the new commercial campaign, the new flavor AHA moment gets a boost from three new flavors. They are Blackberry and Lemon, Pineapple and Passionfruit and Fuji Apple and White Tea.

The Fuji Apple and White Tea is caffeinated. For anyone who is looking for either that morning or afternoon pick me up without being too heavy, this beverage is the perfect choice. The apple flavor is crisp yet not too sweet. With the White Tea, there is nuance, too. For tea drinkers, this sparkling water is an easy swap.

Looking ahead to warmer weather, the Blackberry and Lemon will become a staple. The slightly tart lemon is balanced with the juicy blackberry. Consider serving this sparkling water with a few muddled blackberries in the bottom of the glass. And, for a little extra, a splash of vodka would make for a tasty cocktail.

Lastly, the Pineapple and Passionfruit seems to capture the tropical beverage trend. Although many people are planning that often postponed vacation, these flavors seem to invite those beach breezes to even the couch.

Finding that flavorful AHA moment isn’t a fictional quest. A little laughter, a good friend, and a refreshing beverage can make any adventure even better.
