Toast to Cocktails for a Cause with Copalli Rum

While Earth Day puts sustainability and eco-forward initiatives into the conversation, the ideas do not disappear when the calendar page turns. The seeds of change are planted and start to take root. For Copalli Rum, Cocktails for a Cause is more than just a reason to sip another drink. It is a reason to keep that bottle on the shelf and return to it time and again.

Over the years, companies have looked to connect with people over shared interests. While some beverages might fit into a particular lifestyle or capture the moment, others look to make a bigger connection. When a cause unites people, change can happen.

Located in the Southern rainforest of Belize, the Copal Tree Distillery invites nature to influence the rum that it produces. Bringing together organic sugar cane, pure canopy water and yeast, that bottle proves that simplicity does make a memorable sip.

At the same time, it is more than just a delicious rum. Since the distillery is designed to be carbon neutral, the company proves that business and nature can be supportive partners.


Since Earth Day puts environmental concerns in the forefront of the conversation, Copalli Rum wants to spark a conversation about sustainability and more, which is why it is hosting Cocktails for a Cause.

At various locations in California, Florida and New York, Cocktails for a Cause will be featured. Using the Copalli Rum White, Barrel Rested or Cacao, the libations will be served with a QR code that explains the program and its associated beneficiaries. While Copalli Rum will be donating $2 for each cocktail to its various charities, anyone can look to make a change.
