Forget the heat wave because 7-Eleven has launched pumpkin spice season. The favorite fall beverage is brewing at America’s convenience store. Ready to jumpstart your day with more ways to enjoy that fall flavor coffee?
While quick service restaurants might have the chicken sandwich wars, coffee shops ramp up for pumpkin spice season. From new variations to the first one to brew, it seems that no one waits for the heat wave to disappear before the gourd takes over.
Starting August 5, 7-Eleven is putting out pumpkin spice coffee. For anyone who loves that warm, spicy, comforting flavor, it is music to their ears. For others longing for a few more weeks of summer, they might want to wait a little longer. Or, maybe just turn that pumpkin spice coffee into an iced version.
As Dennis Phelps, 7-Eleven’s Proprietary Beverages Senior Product Director said, “There’s no denying that the Pumpkin Spice Latte is a quintessential fall drink—it’s become a cultural phenomenon loved by coffee drinkers everywhere. We like to take the Pumpkin Spice Latte one step further by encouraging our customers to take their cup of joe into their own hands with more than 3,000 ways to customize their beverage.”
This year 7-Eleven will be offering both a pumpkin spice coffee and a pumpkin spice latte. The coffee is a medium bodied roast with the sweetness of pumpkin. The pumpkin spice latte is the traditional offering with the warm spices and a touch of sweetness.
While pumpkin is taking over coffee menus, 7-Eleven looks to blend both convenience and customization. Some people grab that cup on the way to work or school. Getting in and out efficiently is important to keeping the schedule on track.
Others like the ability to fix their coffee just the way that they like it. Without having to right a laundry list of specifications, the well-stocked coffee bar ensures that the sprinkle of sugar, dollop of cream and a dash of spice creates the perfect sip every time.
7-Eleven has rolled out the favorite fall beverage for a limited time. Whether today is your first of many or you wait for a slight chill in the air, the change of seasons will be here before you know it.
