At Einstein Bros Bagels, the popular restaurant brand has been innovating its menu. From bagel flavors to breakfast sandwiches, the company appreciates that it needs to not only excite new customers to make a stop but also keep existing fans engaged.
What is the new Einstein Bros Bagels menu item?
Recently, the restaurant brand added the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. A departure for the company, this breakfast item is definitely a big bite.
According to Chad Thompson, head of culinary innovation, Einstein Bros. Bagels, “Our version of the Breakfast Burrito is highly flavorful and filling. The Chorizo Breakfast Burrito truly lives up to its hype – made to order with just the right amount of smokey, spicy chorizo.”
The Chorizo Breakfast Burrito is described as “fluffy, cage-free eggs, savory chorizo, thick-cut bacon, perfectly-cooked hashbrowns, a trio of asiago, parmesan and romano cheeses and zesty jalapeno salsa; all rolled up inside a warmed flour tortilla.” The made-to-order breakfast seems to be different than other quick service restaurant breakfasts. While some brands are focusing on sweet, this option might appeal to the person who wants their big meal of the day to be in the morning. It could keep the hunger at bay for a long.
Even though this new menu item has been added, the classic bagels are not going anywhere. Plus, to celebrate the back-to-school season, Einstein Bros Bagels will be offering a special $1 deal.
According to the brand, a half-dozen bagels are just $1 when guests buy a half-dozen bagels. The offering is available both in-bakery and online. The offer runs through August 16.
