Casey’s celebrates its 21st birthday with the Ultimate Beer Cheese Breakfast Pizza
Turning 21 is a rite of passage. For some people, that momentous occasion comes with a toast, raising a glass or even just cracking open a beer. Casey’s, fifth-largest pizza chain in the U.S, is celebrating its big birthday with a new pizza flavor. With the help of Busch Light, it is time to enjoy a slice of the Ultimate Beer Cheese Breakfast Pizza.
For some people, beer and pizza is a classic pairing. While people can debate their favorite pizza toppings or preferred beer style, the reality is that the simple food and beverage combination never goes out of style.
While there can be a slice on a plate and a beverage in a mug, the beer is not often found in the pizza items. Since Casey’s has never shied away from taking a different approach to pizza, its special offering in conjunction with Busch Light might be the game changer that people cannot resist.
According to a recent company announcement, the Casey’s and Busch Light collaboration is the Ultimate Beer Cheese Breakfast Pizza. It features a Busch Light beer cheese sauce. Topped with a variety of premium meats, scrambled eggs, green peppers, onions and mozzarella and cheddar cheese, it is a hearty bite.
While no one has thought of putting beer cheese on a pizza, it is a smart idea. Who doesn’t love a pretzel dipped in beer cheese? This concept is similar, but a much heartier take.
Although this concept is a breakfast pizza, it does not necessarily mean that the slice has to be enjoyed first thing in the morning. Why not serve this pizza for tailgating or that always popular breakfast for dinner idea.
But, the idea of “hair of the dog” does come to mind. Even though starting the day with a Busch Light might be a little precarious, enjoying this Casey’s pizza after a big night out might be a tasty choice.
