Food Network has conjured up some frightful feasts with the 2022 Ghostober programming. From fan favorite baking competitions to gorgeous gourds, the spooky season is most sensational. Which food television show will be on the top of the must see list?

The always popular Halloween Baking Championship is back for another season. While last year’s competition had the bakers going to camp, this season’s theme is about a haunted hotel. Although the terrifying treats do get center stage, the outrageous costumes from judges Carla Hall, Zac Young and Stephanie Boswell usually have everyone talking.

Although it is impossible to predict which baker will earn the crown, this Food Network show has taken a more creepy turn over the past several seasons. Instead of that family friendly ghost, it is more about the ghoulish. Still, it is the baker who blends flavor and visual that survives all the cuts.

Another popular part of the Ghostober programming is Halloween Wars. Even though the format of this Food Network program has changed, many viewers cannot believe the intricate cake and sugar designs from the various teams. With Eddie Jackson as host and judges Shinmin Li and Aarti Sequeira, the teams better be prepared for the competition.

This Halloween Wars season has Zak Bagans asks the teams to be inspired by the most haunted places in the world. Even though these locales inspire the design, the hope is that the spirits do not cause havoc with the final result.

For fans of the great gourd, Outrageous Pumpkins returns. The skill and effort required to transform those pumpkins into intricate designs takes a masterful hand. This program always impresses.

Lastly, a new show is coming to the Ghostober programming. Jet Tila and Rosanna Pansino are hosting Halloween Cookie Challenge. Based on the preview clips, these cookies might be too creepy to eat.

All the Food Network Ghostober programming can also be streamed on Discovery+.
