Celebrity Cruises Beyond launches its inaugural season to much fanfare

After a quick stop in New York, Celebrity Cruises Beyond welcomed guests to its naming ceremony on Friday, November 4. The special event saw the ship’s godmother, Simone Biles, christen the Beyond in grand fashion. While the play on the concept of “beyond” was captured in many ways, Biles role as godmother continues the brand’s commitment to putting powerful women in the spotlight. From the Beyond’s Captain Kate McCue to Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, Celebrity Cruises President and CEO, this brand appreciates that strong, powerful women should be celebrated in every capacity.
