Vlasic pickle candle has pickle lovers basking in its briny glow
Pickles and pickle flavor has taken over the food world. It is more than just an ingredient on that chicken sandwich or burger. The briny flavor is featured in dips, chips, beverages, and a multitude of food items. Ahead of National Pickle Day, pickle lovers can add a delicious aroma all over the house thanks to the new Vlasic pickle candle.
National food days are a reason for many people to celebrate their favorite foods. From restaurant deals to special recipes, that food’s flavor fills the celebration.
This year, Vlasic is taking a different approach to the celebration for National Pickle Day on November 14. Instead of serving up a jar of pickles in a creative way, it is bringing pickle lovers a treat brings a little whimsy to the conversation. It is time to light up that briny love because this special offering is the real “dill.”
In collaboration with Candier by Ryan Porter, the special candle looks and smells just like a jar of Vlasic Dill Pickles. As Brett Castle, Vlasic Brand Director said, “It was a no-brainer for us to bring the fun and flavor of Vlasic into homes across the country in celebration of National Pickle Day.”
Although this idea presented challenges, Krysten Kauder, Founder, Candier by Ryan Porter was up to perfecting the real “dill.” Porter said, “Getting the wax pickles to look like they’re floating in clear liquid was really tough. So, everything had to be done by hand.” As seen in the photos, the realistic looking candle will surely be a huge hit.
The special Vlasic pickle candle will be sold online via Candier by Ryan Porter starting on November 14, National Pickle Day. It will be sold for $29 and will available while supplies last.
Although some people will laugh at the novelty of product, food candles are big business. Who hasn’t lit a cinnamon roll candle or a cookie candle to create a warm, welcoming ambiance?
Various brands have launched candles based on a particular food offering or aroma. Sweet, savory, or even questionable choices, the concept has hit all the options. Even if some people might not have wanted a beef jerky candle, it became a conversation piece.
This pickle candle definitely has people talking. It might become the must have holiday gift for the pickle lover in the family.
What do you think of this pickle candle idea? Are you going to try to purchase one?
