Fantasy confectionery creations impress people. Whether people are amazed by the unreal appearance of cakes or the impressive, creative flavors in imaginative desserts, the world of competitive baking has risen to prominence. In the new Food Network docu-series Bake It ‘Til You Make It, the iconic food television network offers a definitive look into the world where butter, sugar and flour combine to the most magnificent delights.

While food television programming is full of culinary competitions, those programs are just one slice of the competitive baking world. From local competitions to company sponsored events, there are plenty of blue ribbons to go around.

Given that the culinary world has become more and more competitive, everyone is looking to stand out. Having a title, accolade, or other adjective behind a name can create a spark, entice a visit, and hopefully help that bottom line.

The new Food Network docu-series Bake It ‘Til You Make It, narrated by Duff Goldman, takes a deep dive into the various layers of competitive baking. Following seven bakers on their journey, the show chronicles the highs and lows of their baking journey.

As Jane Latman, President, Home & Food Content and Streaming, Warner Bros. Discovery said,” With Bake It ‘Til You Make It we are able to pull back the curtain on the world of competitive baking, giving viewers a front row seat to the highs and lows of each baker’s quest for success. The creations are incredible, the determination dogged, and the wild ride from ideation to presentation is something to behold.”

The bakers featured on Bake It ‘Till You Make It include: Monty Alderman (New Castle, DE), Lili Clinger (Las Cruces, NM), Maythe Del Angel (San Antonio, TX), RaChelle Hubsmith (North Logan, UT), Anamaria Morales (Sebastopol, CA), Kareem Queeman (Washington, DC), Sumera Syed (Dallas, TX). If some of these names sound familiar, they should. Some of the bakers have been featured in other Food Network shows.

While each baker has different goals, one thing is clear through the seven episodes. Name recognition can help build a culinary career. Just like the celebrity chef’s name can bring diners to a table, the same can be said about bakers. Many people look for that winner’s title, television appearance, or other designation when picking who will make that epic celebratory dessert.

The Food Network docu-series Bake It ‘Till you Make It will air on Monday, December 26th at 9pm ET/PT.
