Veterans Day restaurant deals 2022: Denny’s, IHOP, and more
On November 11, veterans across service branches are honored. Originally Armistice Day, marking the end of World War I, the Federal Holiday has come to celebrate all members of the Armed Series. In many cases, restaurants and other businesses offer special deals, freebies and more to both current and former military members. Here are some Veterans Day restaurant deals 2022.

Bob Evans
For the Federal holiday, Bob Evans Restaurant will offer a free meal to both active duty and military veterans. The special menu includes seven homestyle menu favorites. Military ID should be provided.
California Pizza Kitchen
Both veteran and active-duty personnel can receive a complimentary entrée and beverage when they choose to dine in at the restaurant. Valid ID is required.
Casey’s
All veterans can receive a free coffee on Veterans Day.
Cracker Barrel
While everyone might be raving about that Cinnamon Roll pie, veterans can receive a complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake with purchase. This offer is available both online and in-store.
Chili’s
When veterans choose to dine-in at Chili’s, they can receive a free entrée on November 11.
Denny’s
The Denny’s Grand Slam is an iconic menu item, and the complimentary Grand Slam offer is back for 2022. As Denny’s President John Dillon said, “At Denny’s, we’re thankful each and every day for the courageous military personnel who have sacrificed so much for this country. We’re honored to continue shining a light on the veteran community and providing heroes with great food to thank them for protecting the nation we call home.”
From 5 a.m. till noon on November 11, all active, non-active, and retired military personnel can receive a free Grand Slam meal. Guests must show valid military ID or DD 214.
IHOP
At participating IHOP locations, veterans can receive free Red, White and Blueberry Pancakes on November 11. The free meal offer is available from 7 a.m. till 7 p.m. Proof of service is required.
The Red, White and Blueberry Pancakes feature three buttermilk pancakes and are topped with strawberries, blueberry compote and whipped topping.
Krispy Kreme
All veterans and active-duty military can receive a free doughnut and small coffee on Veterans Day. And, do not forget about the new Thanksgiving Pie inspired mini doughnuts. A box of those sweet treats will definitely spread a little gratitude.
Red Lobster
Both veterans and active-duty military members can receive a complimentary Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, Fries and Coleslaw at participating restaurants on November 11. Proof of service or military ID is required.
Rosa Mexicano
On November 11, active-duty and veterans can receive a complimentary meal, which includes any food item on the menu.
Schlotzsky’s
Schlotzsky’s free food offer is value through November 30. With purchase of an entrée veterans and active-duty military will receive a free chips and drink.
Sheetz’s
At participating Sheetz stores, veterans can receive a free meal and a free car wash.
Smashburger
Veterans and service members can receive a free burger or sandwich at participating locations on November 11. The following locations will offer this promotion.
Smoothie King
On November 11, Smoothie King will offer free 20 oz smoothies for both active and retired military. Valid military ID is required to receive this offer.
TGI Fridays
Veterans and active-duty military personnel can receive a free meal when they dine-in on Veterans Day. Food selections include Cheeseburger with Seasoned Fries, Crispy Chicken Fingers with Seasoned Fries and Coleslaw, 6 oz. Center-Cut Sirloin with Mashed Potatoes and Garlic-Butter Broccoli and Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken.
Walk On’s Sports Bistreaux
On November 11, all active duty and veteran service members can receive a free Scholarship Burger. Valid military ID is required.
7-Eleven
On November 11, 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes has both an in-store and delivery offer. Veterans can receive a free Quarter-Pound Big Bite 100% all-beef hot dog.
