After the indulgences at the end of the year, many people look to January to start anew. When that resolve needs a boost, having plenty of options to fill the table can be helpful. After many successful years in Las Vegas, NYC Vegan Dining Month is kicking off 2023 with a plethora of delicious dishes.

In addition to the promises to try start a healthy eating path or looking to eat more consciously, the restaurant industry understands that it may need to offer diners more incentive to make that reservation. Specials, promotions, and other items can help entice diners to turn off the stove and place an order.

For the first time, January 2023 is NYC Vegan Dining Month. With over 19 NYC restaurants participating in this special event, the concept not only puts vegan food front and center, but it also highlights the diversity in this category. Dispelling the misconceived notions that vegan is a field of greens or simple flavors, these creative concepts prove that food diversity can lead to greater eating satisfaction.

Founded by Diana Edelman, founder of Vegans, Baby, this concept has been offered in Las Vegas for six years. When discussing bringing this concept to NYC, Edelman said, “The city has such a dynamic vegan dining scene and I am thrilled to create an event here that encourages people to dine out during the month and give restaurants – both vegan and vegan-friendly – a try for a good cause.” This special restaurant event benefits Support + Feed.

Some of the participating restaurants include: Marty’s V Burger, Caravan of Dreams, Avant Garden, Soda Club, Rabbit, Ladybird, Cadence, Raiz, Ayza, PLNT Burger, Laduree, Earthen, Vegan on the Fly, Luz, Organic Grill, Public Records, Lekka Burger, Zooba Eats, and The V Spot. More information and menu can be found on the dining program’s website.

Whether diners are looking for food options that fit their lifestyle choices, are trying the Veganuary challenge, or just want to support local dining, there are plenty of reasons to book a table. As Edelman shared, this event is about finding new and established placed around the City to enjoy vegan forward dishes. The diversity proves that this style of dining has a bounty waiting to be explored.
