Evolve that morning green juice into another flavorful recipe
For many people, green juice has become an easy, tasty way to boost that commitment to healthy eating one sip at a time. Although not all juices are created equal, the deliciousness enjoyed in the glass can evolve into so much more. Ready to discover some other flavorful recipes that the bottle can pour?
While enjoying a glass of green juice might sound like a smart nutritional choice, not all juices are the same. Although people appreciate the idea that drinking greens may be more appealing than eating another salad, there can be some other unwanted items hidden in the bottle. Sometimes added sugars help to make the earthy flavors more palatable. Even though Mary Poppins might have sung about a spoonful of sugar, that added ingredient does not need to be in that juice bottle.
Evolution Fresh is committed to providing flavorful juices that focus on the star ingredient, the fruits and vegetables in the bottle. Using a cold press method, the beverage captures the peak, fresh flavor of the ingredients. Even though the bottle might be enjoyed far from the farm, the flavor mimics fresh picked produce.
In the brand’s line, it has several green juices. From the Organic Green Devotion that has a brightness from the lemon to the Organic Essentials Greens has a touch of tanginess, the flavors are far from bland. More importantly, it makes drinking those vegetables quite enjoyable.
Although there are plenty of reasons to pour another glass, that juice bottle can be used in a variety of recipes. For example, Evolution Fresh shared a delicious Green Goddess salad dressing recipe using its Organic Green Devotion.
Here’s the recipe from Evolution Fresh.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup + 2 tbsp Evolution Fresh Organic Green Devotion juice
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- ½ tsp salt
Method:
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If you do not have access to a high-speed blender, soak cashews in warm water for 30 minutes before blending.
While this Green Goddess dressing is one recipe idea, there are plenty of others waiting to be explored. Why not incorporate the green juice into a pesto or other sauce for pasta. It might even be a way to add some extra flavor to a stock or even as a liquid for cooking rice. Experimenting with that juice beyond the glass celebrates culinary creativity.
