Spring Baking Championship Season 9 gets a premiere date
The stunning, sweet confections will be sprouting from the Food Network kitchen once again. In a recent food television announcement, Spring Baking Championship Season 9 has its premiere date. Which baker will impress the judges with these stunning desserts?
As the chilly air gives way to sunshine filled days, Food Network brings back the fan favorite Spring Baking Championship culinary competition. Joining the returning judges Kardea Brown, Nancy Fuller, and Duff Goldman is host Jesse Palmer. The foursome will balance some fun with a little criticism along the way. Even if that spoonful of sugar makes the feedback seem less harsh, the reality is that Food Network fans want to see the good, the bad and the falling over.
Speaking to the Spring programming announcement, Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food, Warner Bros. Discovery said, “Food Network’s annual baking series celebrate the season with visually stunning, edible creations and spirited competition between the incredible bakers. Monday nights have become appointment viewing for fans for this reason and they are in for a treat with a double-stacked night of spring baking skill and craftsmanship.”
In Spring Baking Championship Season 9, twelve bakers will take the challenge for the coveted title. Over the course of 10 episodes, the bakers will face springtime themed challenges. From garden parties to weddings to a bounty of flowers, the beautiful baking will be stunning.
While the visual is always important, it is often the flavor that impresses the judges the most. These bakers need to showcase some unique desserts but execute them flawlessly. The baker who can combine stunning visuals, delicious flavors, and a little extra creativity will likely earn the crown.
Spring Baking Championship Season 9 debuts on Food Network Monday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET. The first episode will be two hours. It will also be available to stream on discovery+.
