As spring flowers start to bloom, many people are hungry for that first bite of Easter candy. Although the kids might be hoping that the Easter Bunny will bring a basket overflowing with treats, store shelves are starting to prepare for the holiday celebration. Luckily, the Frankford Candy Easter offerings are a delightful mix of old favorite and exciting new items.

For those who might not know, Frankford Candy has long been associated with Easter. Known for its chocolate Easter bunnies, some people might know that the first one was named Little Frankie. Now the company’s bunnies are some of the most purchased in the U.S.

Frankford Candy has partnered with many popular brands via marketing licensing over the years. From Dunkin inspired treats to Krabby Patties, the familiar names give way to delicious flavors.

This year, the candy brand is offering five new treats in addition to old favorites in its Easter line-up. Whether people want a touch of whimsy or classic candy, there is something for everyone.

According to Molly Jacobson, director of business development at Frankford Candy, “People not only love to give and receive candy at Easter, but they also look forward to trying new items each year, especially when they involve favorite brands. In addition to returning Easter favorites like our chocolate Easter rabbits, chocolate eggs and jelly beans, we are now rolling out new PEEPS-inspired treats and new Kellogg’s Rice Krispies candy that are sure to delight fans of these beloved brands.”

One of the three new PEEPS Easter treats is a PEEPS Milkshake Kit. This special kit makes a delicious marshmallow flavored milkshake. For anyone who loves those PEEPS but is looking for another way to enjoy them, this dessert offering is a must.

As for the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies candy offerings, the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Candy Eggs might replace the jelly beans as the must have Easter basket offering. With three flavors, Marshmallow, Strawberry and Milk Chocolate, it is hard to pick a favorite. Or, for marshmallow fans, the marshmallow-only version is also available.

And, for a new twist on that chocolate bunny, the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Marshmallow Candy Rabbit is a sweet, crunchy option that might become a new favorite. The marshmallow-flavored candy gets a boost in texture from the cereal. It is great contrast.

These items join other Frankford Candy Easter offerings like Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Flavored Jelly Beans and Welch’s Jelly Beans. More information can be found at the company’s websites and specific retailers.
