Red Lobster launches a line of frozen seafood products and fans cheer
For some people, there is nothing better than enjoying the hot Cheddar Bay Biscuits and an order of Walt’s Favorite Shrimp at the local Red Lobster restaurant. But, sometimes the convenience of satisfying that food craving at home takes over. Luckily, Red Lobster has added a line of frozen seafood products and now those classic flavors can be enjoyed at the home table.
Although the Red Lobster restaurant experience will never be replaced, the iconic food brand has expanded beyond the table and to-go order. Currently, the brand has a robust biscuit line-up. From the various mixes to the ready-to-bake Cheddar Bay Biscuits, there are many ways to bring those flavors to the home kitchen. Many home cooks have taken to re-create a variety of recipes using those products and favorite flavors.
The newest frozen seafood products feature several familiar flavors but are presented in a slightly different way. The four retail offerings are Cheddar Bay Biscuit Shrimp, Cheddar Bay Biscuit Cod, Coconut Shrimp Bites, and Parmesan Crusted Garlic & Herb Stuffed Shrimp. Launching these products going into the Lenten season is a smart choice for the brand. As more people enjoy Fish Friday it gives them more easy, at-home options.
Looking at the four options, many people will gravitate to the Cheddar Bay Biscuit offerings. That slightly tangy, robust coating will contrast the sweet shrimp and the flaky cod.
