Apple Jacks Pop-Tarts are the ultimate breakfast food mash-up
While some people must start their day with a bowl of cereal and others prefer to have a warm breakfast on the table, the reality is that mom’s old mantra might ring true. Since some people believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, that food choice should bring smiles all around the table. Luckily, the newest Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts flavor, Apple Jacks Pop-Tarts is that delightful blend of fun, nostalgia and sweetness that everyone will be craving.
Over the years, Pop-Tarts has brought flavor innovation to the classic toaster pastry. From brand collaborations like its Eggo offering to transforming favorite flavors like Boston crème donut, the popular strawberry and brown sugar flavors have stiff competition.
In the newest announcement from the brand, the Apple Jacks Pop-Tarts bring that sweet apple with a punch of cinnamon to the toaster pastry. Whether enjoyed warm, frozen, or even just straight from the package, everyone will agree, “we eat what we like.”
According to Heidi Ray, Senior Director of Marketing, Portable Wholesome Snacks, “We know our fans love a brand mashup, so Pop-Tarts is continuing to provide new ways of enjoying the nostalgic flavors from our childhoods. With over 50 percent of Apple Jacks households also purchasing Pop-Tarts, we believe this new flavor will bring families the best of both into one crazy good offering.”
Thinking about this new Pop-Tarts flavor, it lends itself to some dessert creativity. Just like a scoop of vanilla ice cream tastes delightful over apple pie, why not make an Apple Jacks Pop-Tarts ice cream sandwich. Even with an addition of some Apple Jacks along the edge might be quite tasty. Or, simply add some Pop-Tarts pieces to a milkshake or ice cream bowl.
While Pop-Tarts are a popular breakfast choice and snack option, they can be used in other ways. Just like the brand has transformed favorite flavors inside that toast pastry, that food can evolve into other treats, too.
The new Apple Jacks Pop-Tarts will start arriving in stores this April. Walmart will have an exclusive 16-count box and other retailers will offer an 8-count box.
