While Santa might be the world traveler on Christmas Eve, the Easter Bunny is no slouch when it comes to racking up the miles. This year, America’s #1 seasonal sugar candy brand looks to the globe as flavor inspiration. Brach’s Desserts of the World jelly beans will be the must have candy this Easter season.

From the Easter basket to the Egg hunts, jelly beans are often a popular seasonal candy. While the classic flavors will always have a place in those food traditions, new offerings have consumers hoping with excitement. The newest offering from Brach’s brings a taste of wanderlust to the basket.

The new Brach’s Desserts of the World feature five globally inspired flavors. They are Chocolate Macaron, Strawberry Mochi, Churro, Apple Pie and Lemon Sorbet. While the flavor inspiration might be clear, the five flavors are meant to represent France, Japan, Spain, U.S. and Italy.

According to Lauren Holtz Pezza, Director of BRACH’S and Seasonal Marketing at Ferrara Candy Company, “Beloved for generations, BRACH’S Jelly Beans have played a distinct role in the brand’snearly120-year-longlegacy of inspiring meaningful connection throughout the seasons with classic favorites. We’re constantly reviewing emerging flavors and cultural trends. More than ever, consumers are focused on making memories together over adventurous flavors and experiences and we’re excited for our new Desserts of the World Jelly Beans to help satisfy those international cravings in a stress-free way this season.”

Looking at the five flavors, these options are far from the standard choices in the jelly bean category. While Strawberry Mochi is a fruit forward option, it is slightly different than a traditional strawberry. The lemon sorbet is bright and refreshing. It has that pucker but captures the sweetness.

The other three flavors, Chocolate Macaron, Apple Pie, and Churro lean into the dessert concept. For people who enjoy combining jelly beans for new flavor experience, the Churro works well with both the Chocolate Macaron and Apple Pie. Specifically with the Apple Pie, that sweet cinnamon flavor rounds out the apple pie flavor. For people who might want to enjoy a few jelly beans instead of a whole dessert, these flavors satisfy.

Brach’s Desserts of the World jelly beans are available for a limited time. Check with various retailers for availability. The suggested retail price per bag is $3.49.
