When Waterloo launched its sparkling water brand, the fruit-inspired flavors looked to quench drinkers’ thirst for bubbly beverage that satisfied. With just the right amount of carbonation to lift the authentic flavors, Waterloo is the best that can be enjoyed on its own, used as a mixer, or even incorporated into an elegant recipe. With the two new Waterloo citrus sparking waters, Orange Vanilla and Ginger Citrus Twist, it is time to shake up some refreshing sips.

Although the Waterloo sparkling water brand has a robust line, it is never afraid to expand its offerings. Still, the flavors need to capture more than just the current food trend. They need to be authentic yet approachable. Looking at the two new Waterloo citrus sparkling water flavors, many people will have several cans waiting in the fridge for the warmer days ahead.

As Waterloo Sparkling Water CMO, Kathy Maurella said, “our Orange Vanilla and Ginger Citrus Twist are proof, again, of Waterloo’s unique approach to flavor artistry and our obsession with crafting authentic, full-out flavors that taste like they are supposed to.” From first sip to last drop, the bright, zesty flavors effortlessly blend that touch of familiar with a whole new experience.

Looking at the Orange Vanilla, the connection to the classic summer frozen treat is clear. While there is a hint of sweetness, the sun kissed orange notes are always in the forefront. As the can is popped, that bright aroma captures the moment when an orange is just peeled. It is almost like an instant pick-me up.

Thinking about serving the Orange Vanilla, it is delightful when paired with some candied orange peel frozen in an ice cube. Even a sprig of mint served in the glass for an herbal note can be lovely. Sometimes, the simple option is the one that becomes a signature.

For those people who use Waterloo as a mixer, consider pairing the Orange Vanilla with a bourbon. Orange, vanilla, and bourbon are a classic combination. With a simple twist, the right amount of carbonation in this cocktail could bubble up some excitement.

With the Ginger Citrus Twist, this sparkling water is a wonderful alternative to an overly sweet ginger ale or ginger beer. The spice from the ginger is apparent but it does not overwhelm. When combined with the citrus, it is balanced beverage.

If used as a mixer, it would be perfection in a mule. Regardless of the liquor choice, it would be lovely. For a different take, consider using the Ginger Citrus Twist in a margarita. While effervescent margaritas are having a moment, the ginger spice can have a broader appeal than heat driven options that often fill the glass.

The new Waterloo Orange Vanilla and Ginger Citrus Twist Sparkling Waters are available in stores now. A complete list of retailers can be found online.

When the sun shines and the temperatures rise, the glass needs to be filled with authentic flavored refreshment. With these new Waterloo citrus sparkling waters, citrus season is always a pour away.
