Wine and music are often a perfect pairing. Whether it is enjoying a concert under the stars or raising a glass as the lights go down in a theater, the experience of live music and a great glass of wine often make for lasting memories. With the Chateau Ste Michelle and Live Nation partnership, the wine and music pairing will bring excitement to concert season.

According to a recent press release, Chateau Ste Michelle becomes the official wine sponsor of Live Nation at 46 amphitheaters, 32 clubs and theaters across 39 cities nationwide. In addition, at particular musical festivals, Chateau Ste Michelle will have an on-site lounge experience. While Live Nation reports that its research shows, “83% of fans are open to sampling a new beverage while attending a live music event, and 1 in 2 fans agree that doing so can make the experience even more memorable.”

Whether people are enjoying a glass of their favorite chardonnay or choose to step out of their comfort zone with something new, the combination of music and a great libation creates an unforgettable melody. Given that Chateau Ste Michelle has been tied to music for decades, the partnership is a great extension for the brand.

As Guillermo Sanchez, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Chateau Ste. Michelle said, “Music is in our DNA. We believe music, like wine, has the power to unite, create connections and shared experiences. Through our partnership with Live Nation, we are excited to share our passion for wine and music with a new generation of fans across the country.”

To celebrate this partnership the winery has launched a special website to introduce people to pairing music and wine. Whether the suggestions are within some people’s wheelhouse or push them outside of their comfort zone remains to be seen. This website can be a fun way to not only expand an appreciation for wine but also for music.

In addition, the iconic Chateau Ste. Michelle’s Summer Concert Series returns. The Pacific Northwest c outdoor concert series has become a longstanding tradition. This year’s line-up includes 40 performances from May through September.

Whether it is the Taylor Swift concert, Blink 182, or even an upcoming festival, knowing that a great wine will be waiting to be enjoyed while listening to that music will make the evening even more special. Cheers to that!
