New York City has many descriptors. From the Big Apple to the city that never sleeps, both residents and visitors have plenty to say about the iconic city. One of the areas that makes NYC special is Broadway. As the longest running show on The Great White Way, The Phantom of the Opera looks to close after 35 years of performances. To honor its longevity, Serendipity3 has just added The Phantom of the Opera Farewell NYC Rose Frrrozen Hot White Chocolate to the menu.

Serendipity3 has offered special menu items celebrating some of the best and brightest of Broadway. From the recent Some Like It Hot to other favorite shows, the desserts had everyone singing their praises. While these twists on the iconic Frrrozen Hot Chocolate are a reason to make a special visit, the traditional New York infamous dessert will never disappear.

As Chef Joe Calderone, Creative Director at Serendipity3 said, “We are huge fans of The Phantom of the Opera at the restaurant and for over 68 years, have been serving Broadway lovers before and after they see the award-winning musical. We are so sad to see them end their run on Broadway after all of these years and of course had to pay tribute to a fellow New York staple. We know theater fans won’t want to miss honoring the show in such an exciting and delicious way!”

The Phantom of the Opera Farewell NYC Rose Frrrozen Hot White Chocolate will have both musical fans and dessert lovers swooning. While the stunning pink color is an eye turner, it is the rose essence infused white chocolate that will have people talking. That slightly floral note with the sweetness is enticing, just like the voice of the Phantom coming from the bottom of the opera house.

Served in a Phantom masked goblet, the dessert is topped with whipped cream, a candy rose, musical note, then dusted with pink sugar and finished with a cherry on top. The special dessert is $25.95.

Thinking about this dessert, it does capture the essence of the iconic musical. Whether guests are thinking of the first time they saw the chandelier fall or still wonder if Christine made the better choice, this special dessert will be remembered just like the high note during All I Ask of You.

The Phantom of the Opera Farewell NYC Rose Frrrozen Hot White Chocolate will be available March 24 through April 1. Serendipity3 is located at 225 E 60th Street. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. and closes 11 p.m., seven days a week.
