Chick-fil-A’s Watermelon Mint Frosted Lemonade will be the must have summer beverage

While lemonade may be a classic summer beverage, the sweet, tart refreshing sip does not have to be the only flavor in the glass. Given that watermelon is often a popular fruit served at the summer gathering, many people are happy to serve the flavor in their glass and on the table. With Chick-fil-A’s Watermelon Mint Frosted Lemonade, the frozen menu item is the perfect sweet, bright refreshment on a spring day.

Certain food combinations go together. Watermelon and mint are one. Watermelon and lemonade are another. And, lemonade and mint are equally as enjoyable. When all three come to a glass, it is sipping perfection.

In a recent company announcement, Chick-fil-A revealed several new watermelon beverages. They include Watermelon Mint Lemonade, Watermelon Mint Sunjoy, Watermelon Mint Frosted Lemonade, and Watermelon Mint Iced Tea. These beverages will be available starting April 3.

Speaking to these seasonal offerings, Leslie Neslage, Director of Menu and Packaging at Chick-fil-A said, “Seasonal variations of our signature beverages continue to gain popularity with our customers. Guests loved the Watermelon Mint Lemonade in 2017, so we are thrilled to bring it back to our menu and introduce new ways for guests to enjoy this flavor.”

While many people will happily switch to this limited time lemonade from the traditional one, it is the Watermelon Mint Frosted Lemonade that will be the perfect ending to any meal. Made with the signature Icedream, the coolness combined with the bright and sweet flavor is heavenly.

One great contrasting meal would be the spicy chicken sandwich with this beverage. The tanginess from the sandwich is extinguished by the beverage. A perfect treat on a warm spring day.

Although many people love that peach shake during the summer, this idea could quickly become a favorite. The Frosted Lemonade has taken on different flavors throughout the years. Why can’t there be more versions on the menu. Is there an option to make a frosted SunJoy?
