Krispy Kreme celebrates 2023 graduates with special Dough-ploma

Whether they have moved that tassel or will soon be throwing that cap in the air, Krispy Kreme is celebrating all the 2023 graduates. They might have different diploma handed to them on stage, but this Dough-ploma is a lot sweeter.

After the hours of studying, exams, and other stress of completing those school years, many students are ready to celebrate the accomplishment. While some people might hope for a gift card or maybe an item to help them start their new chapter, the reality is that any and all recognitions are greatly appreciated. When a company puts people first, it can earn a loyal customer.

For the fourth year in a row, the company is honoring students. On May 24, 2023 graduates can head to their local store for a free Original Glazed dozen and an all-new Dough-ploma. The special free food promotion is available at participating locations, while supplies last.

According to Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, “We started this during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we haven’t forgotten that the lives of this year’s graduates were heavily impacted by the pandemic. We are thrilled to celebrate their perseverance and spirit the best way we know how: free Original Glazed doughnuts. We hope grads stop by their local Krispy Kreme shop Wednesday dressed in their cap and gown or other Class of 2023 swag, to enjoy a free dozen on us and get their ‘Dough-ploma’.”

To qualify for the promotion, graduates need to wear some type of Class of 2023 swag. It could be a shirt, hat, cap, gown, etc. Basically, the store needs to appreciate that the person qualifies for the free dozen. In addition, anyone who chooses to participate in the promotion is encouraged to share their graduation celebration by tagging the brand.

There might be sayings about the places people go and what lays ahead, one item brings a little extra sweetness to the day. Graduates get ready to get that free dozen on May 24.
