As the anticipation builds for the maiden voyage of the Icon of the Seas, each emerging detail is another morsel that cruise enthusiasts devour. With the Royal Carribean Icon of the Seas dining options, the vacation getaway is a feast that satisfies every food indulgence.

While the ship might go from port to port, the experience onboard ties everything together. At night entertainment soars, splashes, and hits every note. But, guests have a hunger for more than moments that put them on the edge of their seat. The dining options must flavor that excitement from the first moment until disembarkation.

Given that this ship seeks to be the biggest and the best on the ocean, the new Royal Carribean Icon of the Seas dining options want to exceed expectations. In addition to several favorite restaurants returning, the new choices will have guests lining up for that first taste.

As Linken D’Souza, vice president, food and beverage, Royal Caribbean International said, “The experiences had over great food are at the heart of so many shared memories that we could all use more of in our day-to-day. We’ve designed Icon of the Seas to offer every guest, no matter their tastes, age and mood or the occasion, a variety of ways they can easily make those moments their way every day while on vacation. If vacationers want to stick to their favorites, like kids and their chicken tenders, or mix it up every night and try new flavors, more than 20 experiences across Icon’s eight neighborhoods make that possible – without compromise – more than ever.”

The most highly anticipated restaurant will be the Empire Supper Club. A taste of old-school New York elegance, the Central Park location celebrates the best of American cuisine. The eight-course meal with beverage pairings would put the roaring 20s extravagance to shame. As the three-piece band’s music sets the tone, the impeccable food will have people swooning in delight.

While the Empire Supper Club might be the over-the-top offering, the Izumi in the Park will feature to-go bites that will have everyone asking where did they get that dish. From the taiyaki ice cream to the street food, guests will feel transported by the flavor.

Since Royal Carribean Icon of the Seas is well suited for that multi-generational vacation, the kids’ favorite foods need to be front and center. Options like Pier 7 and Surfside Bites are great for all ages. From the surf-and-turf tacos to quick snacks, no one will ever be hungry with these options.

In addition to the new offerings, several Royal Carribean favorites will return. From Chops Grill and Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Bar to Izumi and Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, there is a dining option to curb any and every craving.

Royal Carribean Icon of the Seas will start sailing in January 2024. For more information on available itineraries, please visit the Royal Carribean website.
