The Cheesecake Factory’s Passion Fruit Mojito is the most refreshing summer cocktail
While dining at The Cheesecake Factory is a flavorful experience, the food on the table is even better when paired with a libation. As the warm temperatures continue to rise, a refreshing summer cocktail can be that delightful sipper. Luckily, The Cheesecake Factory has shared its Passion Fruit Mojito recipe so that everyone can enjoy the cocktail at home.
Certain cocktails feel like an escape. From exotic fruits to bold colors, the first sip conjures the idea of vacation in a glass. Even if the gentle waves are not in view, the sense of relaxation can be realized while slowly sipping that cocktail.
With this Passion Fruit Mojito, the cocktail brings together two flavors that feel refreshing. First, the mint has a cooling effect. Although this recipe is very mint forward, it does not overpower all the other ingredients in the glass. From the first whiff as the glass is picked up to the final sip, that herbal note brings a perkiness. There is something about mint that feels invigorating.
While the traditional mojito is relatively simple, the addition of the passion fruit puree adds a touch of tartness. It does not push the cocktail into the sour category. The balance of sweet, tart, and herbal makes for a cocktail that is an easy sipper.

1/2 oz. Agave Water
1-1/2 oz Passion Fruit Puree
1/2 oz. Spiced Rum
1 ea. Lime Wedge – Squeeze & Drop - Add ice to cocktail shaker and shake hard for 5-10 seconds. Leave contents in the shaker.

For an added element, consider using flavored ice cubes. For example, why not freeze a piece of lime or even some of the passion fruit puree into an ice cube tray. As it slowly melts, the cocktail retains its full flavor. After all, no one wants a watered-down cocktail.
This particular refreshing summer cocktail can pair with almost anything. From a simple pasta salad to even some robust burgers, it can be fun to play off the different food pairings. When serving a group, it can be important to have a versatile beverage option.
