Over the years, many people have watched and cooked along with Giada De Laurentiis on her food television series. While those delectable recipes have captivated viewers, the ingredients that the home cook might use could vary from the items on Giada’s cutting board. Now with the new Giadzy Pasta, home cooks have that artisan pasta in their pantry.

Available starting July 30, Giadzy Pasta is the first in-house line of food products. The eight, Made-In-Italy artisan organic pastas will be available exclusively on the Giadzy website.

Speaking to this new food offering, De Laurentiis said, “When we thought about starting to make our own Giadzy products, pasta was a no-brainer, and we are excited to introduce our customers to some of the wonderful pasta products made by Italy’s regional producers.”

The Giadzy Pasta believes that the simplicity of quality ingredients offers a superior product. Made with just flour and water, the food offering focuses on the craft and tradition that is the focus of a great product. From the Majella mountain range water to the Italian semolina, thoughtfulness goes into each aspect of this pasta.

The biggest different with the Giadzy Pasta is the eight shapes offered. They are:

  • Nodi Marini
  • Bucatini
  • Taccole
  • Pappardelle
  • Paccheri
  • Bucatini Lunghi
  • Manfredi Lunghi
  • Spaghetti Chitarra

The variety of shapes allow cooks to experiment with recipes. For example, certain sauces are better with a bucatini versus a pappardelle. Beyond the ability to twirl or simple eat the pasta, it invites cooks to think about each and every ingredient and how it impacts the overall flavor and texture in a dish. For cooks who might not appreciate this idea, it might be a good time to buy a couple of packages and experiment.

The new Giadzy Pasta is available exclusively on the Giadzy website. A 1.1 pound package of dry pasta retails for $10.50. It will be available for sale starting July 30.
