Hell’s Kitchen The American Dream: What to expect from season 22
The fall food television season is heating up with more Gordon Ramsay focused shows. As seen in a recent announcement, Hell’s Kitchen The American Dream, season 22, the culinary competition will be full of drama.
The idea of the American Dream is more than just a figure of speech. Many people long for that moment of success, reaching the pinnacle of their industry, or receiving the accolades from their mentor. In the restaurant industry, earning the position as executive chef, especially within the Gordon Ramsay empire, can be a dream come true for many people.
As seen in the new promotional video from FOX, Hell’s Kitchen The American Dream is not a sweet slumber that leaves the chefs replenished. It is a hard felt battle that will have only one person earning the right to open that door.
While details are still emerging regarding the upcoming season, the clip shows a few classic challenges that are returning. It appears that there will be a tasting challenge with the wrong answers getting food dumped on their head.
In addition to famous faces dining in Hell’s Kitchen, the red versus blue kitchen is back. It appears that the division is men versus women. Whether one kitchen is more dominant than the other remains to be seen.
Of course, Gordon Ramsay will be overseeing everything. These chefs need to execute well. Raw food, under-seasoned dishes, and other cooking mistakes will get his wrath. More importantly, no one better talk back to Chef Gordon. That situation might get them instantly booted out of the kitchen.
In Season 21, Alex Belew won the coveted title. While he stayed true to his Southern roots, he focused on well-executed dishes. With confidence in the kitchen, he was able to rise to the occasion. This next batch of chefs could learn from his experience.
Hell’s Kitchen The American Dream, Season 22, premieres on Thursday, September 28. Episodes will air Thursday nights at 8 p.m. and will be able to stream on Hulu the next day.
