As the FOX competition nears the finale, the Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars final four have proven their talents. While this show is not a cooking competition, it has shown viewers the breadth and depth of the food world. More than knowing giving consumers a tasty product, it is understanding the business of being a food brand which will earn that $250,000 investment.

Throughout the season, the various challenges push each of the entrepreneurs beyond their comfort zone. Whether it was blending a balanced wine or ensuring that the ghost kitchen worked efficiently, nailing the task was more difficult than throwing that axe in the target.

Although each of the challenges had a humorous moment or even saw Gordon Ramsay get riled up, the reality is that there was a purpose beyond raising money for St. Jude’s. Seeing how and why each of the entrepreneurs planned, reacted, and pivoted in the moment was crucial. These individuals might be great in their own business environment, but they need to be able to see beyond that one area.

Which Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars final four could earn the title?

Currently, the Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars final four are Ashley, Caroline, Chris, and Lan. Out of the four, Lan has the least food experience, but she was on point during her role as producer in the most recent challenge. Although she has had confrontational moments with Caroline, her firm hand was not over the top. In some ways, her other business background could help her achieve the ultimate goal.

For Ashley, her even keel approach has served her well throughout the season. While she might have mentioned that she might take a beat to see the moment through an “HR lens,” that calmer heads will prevail concept has helped. Given that she has created a brand from the ground up, she appreciates what it means to find, keep, and grow a customer base. Even if she does not win, she might have finally secured a spot on QVC after the last challenge.

Caroline has had ups and downs throughout the competition. While she does come on strong, it is more than just words without purpose. Even though there are moments when she could focus better, her background in both the food and the restaurant industry is a big plus. If she can stay on task, she could make a run at the end.

Chris might be the most well-rounded candidate for the job. Although his personality can be somewhat over the top, he understands the concept of the hard sell. Add to that scenario his business and scientific knowledge, having him under the Gordon Ramsay brand might be a big win. The possibilities to grow Smart Cups are exponential.

Who will walk away with the $250,000 investment. Be sure to watch new episodes of Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET on FOX. Episodes are available to stream on HULU.
