As many people appreciate, four-legged family members deserve a sweet treat every so often. To celebrate National Dog Day, Krispy Kreme’s Pup’kin Spice Doggie Doughnuts give those furry friends a chance to enjoy the seasonal flavors, too.

For some people, their dog is more than just a constant companion who makes life better. From the smiling face who greets them at the door to the one who cuddles on the couch on a tough day, dogs just seem to know how to make life better. When there is an opportunity to give them a special treat, it is most certainly deserved.

In honor of National Dog Day on August 26, Krispy Kreme is offering Pup’kin Spice Doughnuts. The treats are similar to the new Pumpkin Spice doughnuts that arrived in stores earlier this month.

As Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme said, “Dogs add so much to our lives, so for National Dog Day we’ve upped our game for you to give them the awesome treat they deserve. We know you love our Pumpkin Spice and now it’s time for dogs to get in on the action. We’re pawsitive (groan) your dogs will love them.”

The Pup’kin Spice Doggie Doughnuts are available in four flavors, Pup’kin Spice Original Glazed, Pup’kin Spice Cake, Pup’kin Spice Maple Peanut and Pup’kin Spice Cheesecake Swirl. The special offering will be available in a six-count box. Available in-stores and via the drive-thru, they can be purchased through August 31 at participating locations.

The special season treats are in partnership with Huds and Toke. The doughnut shaped dog biscuits are a fun way to bring a little extra to the National Dog Day celebration. Appropriate for dogs of all ages and sizes, the doggie doughnuts are a treat, not a meal.

Ready to give that furry friend a little extra love this weekend? Grab them and you a pumpkin spice treat and enjoy a taste of fall.
