While many golfers appreciate a stop at the 19th hole after a round, Kitchen Nightmares In the Drink episode showcases a country club restaurant that needs more than a mulligan. In this exclusive clip, a deluded owner needs to listen to Gordon Ramsay’s advice.

According to FOX, Kitchen Nightmares In the Drink episode, features the following:

"One of New Jersey’s busiest golf courses is home to In the Drink, a country club restaurant that struggles to find cohesiveness. Despite an absent owner, Gordon Ramsay attempts to revamp the restaurant and revive its lackluster menu in the all-new “In the Drink” episode of Kitchen Nightmares airing Monday, October 9 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX."

Even though a golf course restaurant might have a captive audience, the establishment needs to run effectively. That concept starts with the person in charge. If he is not willing to lead by example, the whole establishment will start to crumble.

FOX provided FoodSided with this exclusive clip for Kitchen Nightmares In the Drink episode.

As seen in the clip. Gordon Ramsay does not mince words. Whether or not the owner is deluded, delusion, or just lacks understanding does not matter. He does not value his employees, does not lead by example, and does not care about the food leaving that kitchen. That apathy toward the business will never inspire anyone to put forth the effort to have a successful restaurant.

The back and forth about employees never getting a day off is more than poor management. It is lack of respect and lack of value for the people within a business. Over worked restaurant workers are at their breaking point. They might have the desire to share that hospitality with others, but they should not have to totally sacrifice themselves for that concept.

These confrontational moments are more than just entertainment for the Kitchen Nightmares episodes. Sometimes people cannot grasp how their current situation has gone so badly. Without that confrontational moment, they cannot make the change. If everything was perfect, Gordon Ramsay would not be stepping into this situation to make it better.

Will Gordon Ramsay get this golf course restaurant back on the fairway to success? Kitchen Nightmares In the Drink airs Monday, October 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX. Episodes can stream the next day on Hulu.
