Dunkin runs to Ray’s and shakes up a new coffee drinking experience
While many people start their day with a cup of Dunkin coffee, others prefer to sip that smooth, refreshing taste morning, noon, and night. Through a recent collaboration with Ray’s, the lower East side bar, a new coffee drinking experience has everyone toasting the great taste of their favorite coffee.
As many people appreciate, coffee cocktails have become a favorite libation. While the espresso martini might get all the attention, it is not necessarily the only option in the glass. It is more than just adding a shot to the mug. Mixologists are finding ways to highlight a little extra creativity in every shake.
While many New Yorker’s know Ray’s, the popular watering hole is the location for a special Dunkin pop-up bar experience. Now through October 29, the special event blends popular food trends and the classic, nostalgia that Ray’s offers. With Ray’s Runs on Dunkin, the event is a reason to push aside that favorite cocktail and try a sip of something new.
Speaking to this partnership to why this collaboration is beneficial, Tara Carson, New York Field Marketing Director at Dunkin said, “The event is not just about the flavors; it’s about creating moments that resonate with our shared fans in New York City.”
Those moments are what Ray’s guests have come to expect. As Carlos Quirarte, Ray’s Founding Partner expressed, “Dunkin’ offers a comforting familiarity and joy to those who visit, just as Ray’s welcomes patrons as though they’ve been visiting for years – even on their first trip. While our brands differ in offerings, they both stir up nostalgic sentiment among guests.”
What new coffee drinking experience is Dunkin and Ray’s offering?
The special collaboration between Dunkin and Ray’s features five special cocktails. While there is a rift on the uber popular espresso martini, specialty cocktails feature a wide array of Dunkin beverages. From coffee to tea, there is an option for everyone.
Here’s what guests can order:
Dunkin’ Ray-fresher:
As the name suggests, the cocktail features a Dunkin Refresher, specifically the Strawberry Dragonfruit Dunkin’ Refresher. That beverage is combined with Patron Tequila, coconut, lime, and pineapple. It is a taste of the tropics right in the middle of New York City.
Dunkin’ Matcha Lemon Drop:
While many people love that Matcha latte, a matcha cocktail is not as common. This beverage takes the Dunkin Match and combines it with Grey Good Vodka, coconut milk, lemon and honey syrup, it is a lovely blend earthy, sweet, and bright.
Dunkin’ Drunkin’ Pum’kin:
The love of pumpkin is not going anywhere. This sweet sipper features Dunkin’ Cold Brew and Dunkin’ Pumpkin Swirl. With Angel’s Envy Rye and ginger for a touch of spice, the cocktail is layered. Plus, there is a Dunkin Pumpkin Munchkin Donut Hole as a garnish.
Dunkin’ Hazelnut Freeze:
For those wanting a dessert forward option, this frozen cocktail features Jefferson’s Bourbon, cacao liqueur, Dunkin’ Cold Brew, heavy cream, and a Dunkin’ hazelnut flavor shot. It is just like having an adult sippable dessert.
Dunkintini:
The classic espresso martini has a new take. This option combines Absolut Elyx Vodka, Dunkin’ Cold Brew, espresso liqueur, simple syrup, topped with a Classic Munchkin Donut Hole garnish.
For anyone who wants to enjoy these cocktails, it is time to run to Ray’s before October 29. And, if you are not in the New York City area, consider trying to make one at home. Grab a beverage at your local Dunkin and get that cocktail shaker moving.
