As the chefs continue to work on their kitchen communication, Gordon Ramsay takes them to the pitch with the hope that they can build some momentum. While these chefs might be precise with their cuts, one chef is not quite as accurate with his aim in this Hell’s Kitchen Season 22 episode 6 exclusive clip.

According to FOX, Hell’s Kitchen Season 22 episode 6, “Fusion Confusion” features the following:

"The Chefs go head-to-head in a soccer themed cuisine fusion challenge with legend, Alexi Lalas. Can the chefs fuse Japanese, French, Thai, Italian and other cuisines without falling flat? Legendary fusion chef, Tony Messina, will be the judge of that. Afterwards the chefs compete in a chaotic dinner service and attempt to impress NFL Hall-of-Famer Eric Dickerson and actress and television host Melissa Rivers on an all-new “Fusion Confusion” episode of Hell’s Kitchen airing Thursday, Nov. 2 (8:00 PM – 9:00 PM) on FOX."

Taking chefs out of the kitchen brings uncertainty. While some people will surprise Gordon Ramsay and the rest of the culinary team, the reality is that some people may be all talk and no action. Even though the chefs may want a break from the Hell’s Kitchen pressure, these moments might not be filled with levity.

As seen in the first couple of episodes, Jason has been a polarizing figure in the kitchen. From earning Chef Ramsay’s wrath to isolating himself from the other chefs, Jason may not be everyone’s favorite teammate.

In this exclusive Hell’s Kitchen Season 22 episode 6 clip, Jason stumbles again.

Even though aim might not be a kitchen talent, the reality is that Jason was boastful about his skill. Sometimes it is better to be humble. Missing once is acceptable; continual lack of direction is laughable. Unlike cooking the perfect Wellington, there is no amount of practice that could help Jason.

While the soccer challenge brings an element of fun, the fusion challenge has a strategy built into that concept. Although Jason might not be able to hit a target, others might carefully pick a country to throw an opponent off their game. Unlike finishing a dinner service, there can be more gamesmanship in this particular challenge.

Since Hell’s Kitchen has a few challenges behind the chefs, the divide between top chefs and bottom ones is starting to emerge. Even though anything can happen in this culinary competition, the reality is that mistakes cannot be hidden. Skating by thanks to stronger team members is coming to a close. Similar to the last episode, a favorite can fall quickly.

Which chef will score, and which one will feel the agony of defeat? Be sure to watch Hell’s Kitchen Season 22 episode 6 on FOX Thursday night at 8 p.m. EST. It can be streamed the next day on Hulu.
