While some people might have a well-stocked bar, the idea of picking up a cocktail shaker can be a little intimidating. With the Cocktail Collection from Diageo, the ability to pour and enjoy puts the focus on the best part of cocktail hour, raising a glass to good times.

For some people, a carefully crafted cocktail is more than just enjoying some refreshment. That well-balanced flavor reflects a mastery of the shaker. Although the mixologist has honed that skill, others might not want to go through all the steps that create the final product.

Recent beverage trends show that people want to enjoy a great cocktail at home. While there is a time and place for that night out, the comfort of spending the night in has appeal. Luckily, liquor brands are making it easier for consumers to sip that elevated taste without the extra effort.

According to Nikhil Shah, Brand Director at Diageo, “Cocktail culture continues to flourish, so it’s only natural that consumers are looking to bring elevated drink experiences into their homes. But making cocktails at home, and doing it well, can be challenging for the less experienced bartender. The Cocktail Collection is here to alleviate those concerns with convenient, bar-quality cocktails from trusted brands, offering a wonderful new way to enjoy holiday celebrations together this year.”

Joining the Cocktail Collection line is three new options, Ketel One Vodka Espresso Martini, Ketel One Vodka Cosmopolitan, and Tanqueray Gin Negroni. Currently, the brand offers Bulleit Manhattan and Bulleit Old Fashioned.

These pourable cocktails capture the classic flavors. From the robust coffee notes in the espresso martini to the bold bitters in the Negroni, each thirst can be satisfied. More importantly, the flavor delivers what people have come to expect. Unlike some options in a can, these cocktails capture that mixologist craftsmanship.

While this Diageo offering focuses on convenience, it is more than just a pour and go option. In some ways, it puts creativity on display in a different way.

For example, the perfect barware, a sophisticated garnish, or just an innovative pairing makes for a fuller drinking experience. A gold rimmed martini glass with an edible flower garnish can turn that Cosmopolitan into picture perfect moment. Or, serving that espresso martini with a layered trifle dessert can be the satisfying ending to a lavish meal.

No matter the scenario, the Cocktail Collection is just important to have on the shelf as those favorite spirits that never collect dust. From catering a request of a party guest to avoiding the shaker mistake that feels like failure, these bottles are just as important as a variety of beer and wine choices.

The Cocktail Collection is available in two sizes, four and eight servings. The suggested retail price is $13.99 and $25.99. Each option has a 20% ABV. More information can be found online.
