Krispy Kreme World Kindness Day celebration brings a sweet treat
Sometimes a small gesture can make the day a little brighter. On November 13, the Krispy Kreme World Kindness Day celebration gives some guests free doughnuts.
Food promotions are often a reason to indulge, make a special visit, otherwise enjoy a treat. This year, Krispy Kreme celebrates World Kindness Day by giving out free doughnuts to guests. On November 13, the first 500 guests will receive one dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts for themselves and also a dozen to share with someone else.
Speaking to this special promotion, Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme said, “World Kindness Day is an opportunity to make a positive difference by being generous – from paying it forward to meaningfully connecting with each other. Simple gestures of caring and thanks, including sharing a sweet treat, is a great way to do that. We hope a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts – one doughnut for you and many to share with others – will inspire millions of small acts of kindness.”
Putting the focus on kindness as the holiday season begins is important. In a world full of chaos, a little happiness, generosity, and charity serves as a reminder to be good to people.
While many people will line up to be one of the 500 guests to receive the free doughnuts, the reality is that food can and does connect people. Beyond the special promotional event, a connection can be made when sharing a meal with a person. Whether it is bringing a box of doughnuts to the office, a holiday meal that brings together family, or that random communal table at a restaurant, those moments spark conversations. Even the most different people can find something to talk about in that moment.
The Krispy Kreme World Kindness Day celebration comes after the brand announced its Flavors of Fall. Although these doughnuts are not included in the November 13 promotion, anyone can grab a few extra doughnuts to try.
On November 13, head to Krispy Kreme to celebrate World Kindness Day. Sharing a little sweetness can make the world a better place.
