Hell’s Kitchen Season 22 charity challenge hits home for one chef, clip
While tensions are high and pressure mounts, the Hell’s Kitchen Season 22 charity challenge is more than just another dinner service. As one chef shares in this exclusive episode clip, the food served at this meal is seasoned with heartfelt gratitude.
Periodically on Gordon Ramsay lead FOX food television shows, there are opportunities to highlight charities and their causes. Over the years, Hell’s Kitchen has had special dinner services. Gordon Ramsay Food Stars held a charity challenge.
While these moments have a tie to the competition as a whole, it is an opportunity to showcase an element of what it means to be a chef. Food is a connector and offers the opportunity to bring people together. These food television moments are a reminder what chefs do on a daily basis, allow food to nourish the body, mind, and soul.
As seen in this clip provided to FoodSided, the Hell’s Kitchen Season 22 charity challenge has a deeper connection to Amber.
Although the short clip announces the Red Team’s charity, Teen Cancer America, how the chefs, especially Amber, channel the importance of this dinner service remains to be seen. Sometimes these personal connections can push the chefs to present the best possible food. That emotional drive can be tasted in every bite.
For those unfamiliar with the charity, Teen Cancer America supports “Increasing survival and improving the lives of adolescent and young adults with cancer by transforming hospitals to better serve their needs.” Hopefully, the exposure on the FOX culinary competition will give the organization some additional exposure.
The Blue Team’s charity has not been revealed, yet. But, the other kitchen might not be as diligent with their service.
As FoodSided previously published, the Blue Team serves burnt gnocchi. While the chefs will not admit who presented the cooking error, the Blue Team might need to better appreciate the gravity of the dinner service.
No matter the final result from the dinner service, it is imperative that everyone in the Hell’s Kitchen put their best efforts into this event. It is not the time to try to ”sell” that lackluster dish. Given the gravity of the moment, getting the ire from Gordon Ramsay during this event will not serve any chef or their team well.
