In recent years, SeaWorld has elevated its food and beverage offerings. From the holiday celebrations that combine classic offerings with flavor innovation to spooky season treats, each special event offers a unique flavor experience.
The annual Seven Seas Food Festival brings together food, beverages, and special concerts. Before guests dance and sing to their favorite performers as the stars reflect on the lagoon, the day is full of culinary adventures that satisfy even the most daring palates.
This year, the SeaWorld culinary team is offering over 190 internationally inspired dishes. The menu includes returning favorites as well as a wide array of new dishes. The diverse food offerings span the globe. From vibrant Caribbean flavors to robust Indian spices to comforting Irish fare, there is something for everyone.
According to a recent announcement sent by the theme park, 10 new dishes and seven new cocktails will be highlighted at the festival. Those menu items include:
Pork Pincho – Grilled Pork Skewer with Tangy BBQ Sauce and Grilled Cuban Bread
Garlic Toast Chicken Parmigiana – Pan Seared Thick Garlic Toast Topped with Breaded Chicken, Marinara and Mozzarella Cheese
Cardamom Chocolate Torte Cake – Bittersweet cardamom infused ganache cake
Rueben Egg Roll – Corned Beef and Sauerkraut Eggrolls with Thousand Island dipping sauce
Lychee Bliss – Vodka, Lychee Liquor, Lime
As this short list showcases, the culinary team embraces a wide array of flavors and ingredients. From familiar flavors like the chicken parmigiana to the vibrant lychee cocktail, guests can either stay in the food lane or veer into a new flavor path.
Looking at these particular menu items, the Rueben Egg Roll should be a big hit. Easy to eat, hand held items are popular. Plus, a dipping sauce is always enjoyable.
The Cardamon Chocolate Torte Cake might be overlooked by some, but it should be the highlight of the dessert list. Choosing to highlight this flavor combination is a lovely example of the chefs’ willingness to push guests with more adventurous options while rooting them in a familiar dish.
The SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival runs on select dates from January 31 through May 4. In addition to the special food and beverage offerings, various nights will feature special concerts. The complete lineup of performances can be found on SeaWorld’s website.
The festival is included with theme park admission. Tasting lanyards for the event are sold in a 10-sample and 15-sample option. SeaWorld Orlando Pass Members have a special 18-sample option.
