While the skiing community will be eyeing the slopes during the Ski World Cup, 5850 Fest brings a wide array of activities and events to Ketchum, Idaho this March. The Summit to Table Culinary Program curates some of the world’s best chefs, dining experiences, and culinary demonstrations.

Festivals and special events invite people to travel the world for a new experience. Whether the locale is familiar or an exotic destination, people crave a flavorful, memorable, and unique event.

Across the U.S. and even in some Caribbean countries, food festivals are a big draw. From special dinners featuring celebrity chefs to celebrating local ingredients, these moments invite people away from the resort, cruise ship, or even theme park to embark on a new journey. Hopefully, the event leaves a lasting impression once the guest returns to the home airport.

Running March 20-27, 2025 in Ketchum, Idaho, 5850 Fest includes the Summit To Table Culinary Program as well as music, comedy, and other programming. The food offerings includes special events featuring some of the world’s best chefs.

Tyler Florence leads the event along with Stephanie Izard, Art Smith, and Karen Akunowicz. Additionally, PopUp Bagels will bring their special baked goods to the event. Given the diverse talent on the bill, the food will be eclectic, flavorful, and unlike any other offering available.

According to festival Co-founders Brandon Kuvara and Jenny Dupre, “5850 Fest is all about unforgettable experiences. Whether you’re enjoying the Ski World Cup, catching a concert or indulging in gourmet delights, our Summit to Table experience has something for everyone. From VIP dinners with world-class culinary celebrities to the country’s best bagels, Summit to Table blends artistry, adventure and incredible food and wine into the ultimate celebration of Ketchum’s vibrant energy.”

Infusing elevated food options into these types of festivals is vital. Food is the common connector. Given that the 5850 Fest showcases local ingredients and companies, the experience has a deeper meaning beyond the deliciousness on the plate. The heart of the Sawtooth Mountains will be full of a bounty of deliciousness.
