While many people might have their favorite travel mug or morning coffee routine, that idea of coffee on the go originated with one place, 7-Eleven. To celebrate 60 years as the original To-Go Coffee, the brand is giving people a huge gift for the rest of the year. Mondays are now extra caffeinated.

Back in 1964, 7-Eleven offered customers the ability to take their coffee to-go. Those specialty cups have evolved over the years. The paper and Styrofoam cups have been replaced with reusable and even bejeweled ones.

Still, one priority remains constant. Coffee drinkers want a delicious cup of coffee. Strong or mild, black or with sugar and cream, the constant is that the brew needs deliver the flavor that people crave.  7-Eleven started that idea and continues it 60 years later.

According to 7-Eleven, every Monday, now through the end of December, all 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards Members can purchase a small coffee for just 60-cents. When other coffee brands charge triple or more for the same type of beverage order, 7-Eleven is making a big statement with this promotion. Great coffee does not have to cost a fortune.

In addition to the savings, 7-Eleven is marking the occasion with a new treat. The Birthday Cake Cappuccino is on the menu for a limited time. According to the brand, it is a yellow cake treat with cappuccino-flavored frosting and sprinkles. Whether enjoyed with a coffee or on its own, it is a great way to celebrate 60 years of coffee greatness.

7-Eleven has earned the designation of America’s Convenience Store. Coffee is part of that legacy. Whether the person drinks 7-Eleven coffee every day or this special promotion entices them to try it for the first time, the reaction could be the same. Are you ready to say thank heave for 7-Eleven?
