Airheads wants everyone to smell the sweetness this Halloween
Halloween is full of traditions. From carefully planning the trick or treating trek to finding the perfect costume, everyone wants the spooky night to be full of fun. To add a little silly to the scary, Airheads wants a sweet aroma to permeate the air. Isn’t it time for stinky feet to get a makeover?
The classic rhyme, “trick or treat, smell my feet” is known by most. Even though few kids really kick off their shoes and make people take a whiff, the phrase is part of Halloween. Just the notion could get some houses to keep an extra bag of candy in the house to avoid any pranks.
This year, Airheads wants people to rethink the whole smelly feet notion. Instead of being a downer, a sweet notion is ready to be sprayed. Welcome cherry-scented foot spray.
As Craig Cuchra, VP of Marketing at Perfetti Van Melle, maker of Airheads candy explained, “This Halloween we want trick-or-treaters to 'treat their feet' with our new cherry-scented foot spray that smells just like an Airhead Cherry bar. Now even your feet can smell like Airheads, a gift that keeps on giving beyond Halloween night. This spray really gives the 'trick-or-treat, smell my feet' song a whole new meaning–now people might just want to give them a sniff."
Now, this special offering is not available in stores. But, some lucky people will get their hands (or feet) on this first of its kind item. Starting on October 14, Airheads will give away some of these foot sprays at www.airheadsfootspray.com.
To be clear, this foot spray may not be an odor eliminator or a trick preventor. It is a definite conversation starter with people. Maybe the Airheads foot could be the new “thing” for Halloween. Watch out Addams Family icon, the toes are taking over.
And, some people might just want to use this cherry scented spray to add a little sweetness to their environment. Life is too short to deal with bad smells.
What would you do with the Airheads foot spray? Could it make your Halloween celebration full of sweet aromas?
